RURAL BUSINESS ENTERPRISE GRANT
Purpose: To assist local entities finance and facilitate the development of small, emerging private business enterprises, provide technical assistance, and establish revolving loan programs Program Type: Grants to support local and regional economic development programs for non-farm businesses Eligible Applicants: Public bodies, nonprofit corporations, and Indian tribes Eligible Areas: Any area other than a city or town with a population of 50,000 or greater and the urbanized areas contiguous and/or adjacent to such a city or town Authorized Purposes: Funds may be used to provide technical assistance, establish a revolving loan fund, or other business development initiative directed toward small, emerging private enterprises When to Apply: Year round Who to Contact: Kentucky Rural Development's Business and Cooperative Programs office can be reached at 859/224-7435; additional information can be viewed on the BCP national webpage |
