RURAL COOPERATIVE DEVELOPMENT GRANT
 

Purpose:  To improve rural economies through the development of new cooperatives and/or the improvement of existing cooperatives

Program Type:  Grants to entities encouraging the development of cooperatives 

Eligible Applicants:  Nonprofit corporations and institutions of higher learning

Eligible Areas:  Any area other than a city or town with a population of greater than 50,000 and the urbanized areas contiguous and/or adjacent to such a city or town

Authorized Purposes:  Funds are used to establish technical assistance, research, and educational/advisory programs and services that promote rural cooperative development

When to Apply:  Year round
