RURAL ELECTRIFICATION DIRECT AND GUARANTEED LOANS

 

Purpose:  To help provide reliable, affordable electricity to all rural residents 

Program Type:  Direct and guaranteed loans 

Eligible Applicants:  Rural Electric Cooperatives

Eligible Areas:  Areas served by rural electric cooperatives 

Authorized Purposes:  Funds are used to finance electric distribution and
sub-transmission facilities 

Rates and Terms: Rates and terms vary dependent on type of assistance and prevailing market interest rates

When to Apply:  Year round
