USDA ANNOUNCES $10,000 FOR BOYNE CITY EMERGENCY VEHICLE
EAST LANSING, March 19, 2008 – USDA Rural Development Director for Michigan Gene DeRossett will present a $10,000 ceremonial grant check for an emergency vehicle at noon on Tuesday, March 25, at city hall, 319 N. Lake Street in Boyne City.
The event is open to the general public and everyone is welcome to attend.
USDA Rural Development's mission is to deliver programs in a way that will support increasing economic opportunity and improve the quality of life of rural residents. As a venture capital entity, Rural Development provides equity, liquidity, and technical assistance to finance and foster growth in homeownership, business development, and critical community and technology infrastructure.
