USDA Rural Development announces groundbreaking ceremony for New Health Center in Jackson
EAST LANSING, May 28, 2010 USDA Rural Development Director for Michigan James Turner today announced a groundbreaking ceremony for the New Health Center in Jackson at noon on Friday, June 4. The site is located at 505 N. Jackson Street - the corner of Ganson and N. Jackson.
The event open to the general public and everyone is welcome to attend.
USDA, through its Rural Development mission area, administers and manages more than 40 housing, business and community infrastructure, and facility programs through a network of 6,100 employees located in the nations capital and 500 state and local offices. These programs are designed to improve the economic stability of rural communities, businesses, residents, farmers and ranchers and improve the quality of life in rural America. Rural Development has an existing portfolio of more than $134 billion in loans and loan guarantees.
