USDA ANNOUNCES OPEN HOUSES FOR PORT AUSTIN, LAINGSBURG RENTAL PROPERTIES

EAST LANSING, July 23, 2007 – USDA Rural Development today announced open houses for two of its rental properties.

The Hidden Glen Apartments property is located at 350 Prospect Street, in Laingsburg.  The open house takes place on Thursday, July 26 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. 

The bid is $685,000 and the property is subject to required repairs and is sold “as is.”  The apartment complex contains 32 units:

  • 14 one bedrooms and
  • 18 two bedrooms.

The Harbor Villas Apartments property is located at 299 Grindstone Road in Port Austin.  The open house takes place on Tuesday, July 31 from 11 a.m. to noon.  The bid $355,000 and the property is subject to required repairs and is sold “as is.”  The apartment complex contains 20 units:

  • 8 one bedrooms and
  • 12 two bedrooms.

USDA financing is required.
