Contact: Alec Lloyd USDA announces $2.3 million for Village of Kingsley sewer system EAST LANSING, Dec. 8, 2010 – U.S. Department of Agriculture Rural Development State Director for Michigan James J. Turner today announced a $2.3 million ceremonial loan and grant certificate will be presented to the Village of Kingsley for sewer improvements at noon on Wednesday, Dec. 15, at the village hall, located at 207 S. Brownson Ave., in Kingsley. The event is open to the general public and everyone is welcome to attend. USDA Rural Development's mission is to deliver programs in a way that will support increasing economic opportunity and improve the quality of life of rural residents. As a venture capital entity, Rural Development provides equity, liquidity, and technical assistance to finance and foster growth in homeownership, business development, and critical community and technology infrastructure.
