USDA ANNOUNCES $300,000 FOR MICHIGAN SUGAR COMPANY
EAST LANSING, Dec. 3, 2007 – USDA Rural Development Director for Michigan Gene DeRossett will present a $300,000 ceremonial check to the Michigan Sugar Company on Friday, Dec. 7 at 10 a.m. at their office located at 2600 S. Euclid Ave., in Bay City.
The event is open to the general public and everyone is welcome to attend.
USDA Rural Development's mission is to deliver programs in a way that will support increasing economic opportunity and improve the quality of life of rural residents. As a venture capital entity, Rural Development provides equity, liquidity, and technical assistance to finance and foster growth in homeownership, business development, and critical community and technology infrastructure.
