USDA Announces Muskegon Family Care Center Open House
EAST LANSING, Oct. 3, 2011 – U.S. Dept. of Agriculture Rural Development State Director for Michigan James J. Turner today announced a grand opening and open house for Muskegon Family Care’s newly expanded facility on Wednesday, Oct. 5, from 3 to 5 p.m. at 2201 S. Getty Street in Muskegon.
The event is open to the public and everyone is welcome to attend.
The agency provided a $6,354,257 loan guarantee to Community Shores Bank to help finance the project.
USDA, through its Rural Development mission area, administers and manages housing, business and community infrastructure and facility programs through a national network of state and local offices. These programs are designed to improve the economic stability of rural communities, businesses, residents, farmers and ranchers and improve the quality of life in rural America. Rural Development has an existing portfolio of more than $150 billion in loans and loan guarantees.
