USDA ANNOUNCES $21,000 ARRA GRANT FOR OSCEOLA COUNTY POLICE VEHICLES
EAST LANSING, Jan. 29, 2010 – U.S. Department of Agriculture Rural Development State Director for Michigan James J. Turner today announced a $21,000 American Recovery and Reinvestment Act grant ceremony for Osceola County will take place on Tuesday, Feb. 2 at 1 p.m. at the County Building, 325 W. Upton in Reed City.
The event is open to the general public and everyone is welcome to attend.
USDA Rural Development's mission is to deliver programs in a way that will support increasing economic opportunity and improve the quality of life of rural residents. As a venture capital entity, Rural Development provides equity, liquidity, and technical assistance to finance and foster growth in homeownership, business development, and critical community and technology infrastructure.
