USDA ANNOUNCES GRANT FOR PORT AUSTIN POLICE CAR
LANSING, June 22, 2007 – USDA Rural Development Director for Michigan Gene DeRossett will present a $16,000 ceremonial grant check to the Village of Port Austin on Friday, June 29th at 10 a.m. at Port Austin Village Hall, 27 W. State St.
The money will be used to help purchase a new police cruiser.
The event is open to the general public and everyone is welcome to attend.
USDA Rural Development's mission is to deliver programs in a way that will support increasing economic opportunity and improve the quality of life of rural residents.
