REED CITY TO RECEIVE NEW FIRE TRUCK
LANSING, March 16, 2007 – USDA Rural Development Director for Michigan Gene DeRossett will present a ceremonial check for $260,000 for a new fire truck at the Reed City Fire Station, 523 Morse St., in Reed City on Thursday, March 22 at 11 a.m.
The event is open to the general public and everyone is welcome to attend.
USDA Rural Development's mission is to deliver programs in a way that will support increasing economic opportunity and improve the quality of life of rural residents. As a venture capital entity, Rural Development provides equity, liquidity, and technical assistance to finance and foster growth in homeownership, business development, and critical community and technology infrastructure.
