USDA RURAL DEVELOPMENT ANNOUNCES GRANTS FOR THE MANOR, VILLAGE OF COLON
EAST LANSING, Sept. 22, 2008 – U.S. Department of Agriculture Rural Development Director for Michigan Gene DeRossett will host two ceremonies on Monday, Sept. 29 commemorating more than $60,000 in grants for the Village of Colon and The Manor in Jonesville.
DeRossett will present a ceremonial $10,000 check for a new police vehicle to the Village of Colon at 10 a.m. at the village hall, 110 N. Blackstone Ave., in Colon. At 11:30 a.m. he will present a $50,000 grant check to The Manor, a residential treatment and special education school located at 115 East Street, in Jonesville.
The events are open to the general public and everyone is welcome to attend.
