USDA ANNOUNCES BUSINESS GRANT FOR TUSCOLA COUNTY
EAST LANSING, Nov. 1, 2007 – USDA Rural Development Director for Michigan Gene DeRossett will present a $30,000 ceremonial check to the Tuscola County Board of Commissioners to foster business opportunity in Tuscola County on Monday, Nov. 5 at 1:30 p.m. at 207 E. Grant St. in Caro.
The event is open to the general public and everyone is welcome to attend.
USDA Rural Development's mission is to deliver programs in a way that will support increasing economic opportunity and improve the quality of life of rural residents. As a venture capital entity, Rural Development provides equity, liquidity, and technical assistance to finance and foster growth in homeownership, business development, and critical community and technology infrastructure.
