This initiative focuses on helping entrepreneurs with the technical aspects of running a business, meaning more jobs will be created and that they will have better long-term prospects. The project is expected to generate 25 jobs per year. During Fiscal Year 2007, USDA Rural Development invested more than $428 million in rural Michigan communities. USDA Rural Development's mission is to deliver programs in a way that will support increasing economic opportunity and improve the quality of life of rural residents.
