USDA Rural Development Presents $369,000 Check to  Adult Client Training Services

  OLIVIA, Minn. July 29 – Adult Client Training Services (ACTS) in Olivia welcomed officials from Rural Development in the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) today for a check presentation and open house.

              Since 2003, USDA Rural Development has provided ACTS with $369,000 in low-interest loans to fund a building purchase and additions. ACTS is an organization that works with developmentally disabled adults.

             “ACTS provides a great service for Olivia and the surrounding communities,” said Steve Wenzel, Minnesota State Director of USDA Rural Development. “President Bush has a vision for a strong rural America . USDA Rural Development is here to carry out that vision. I want to congratulate the leadership at ACTS and thank them for the great work they do.”

              Since 2001, USDA Rural Development has invested over $2.1 billion throughout Minnesota . The agency has funding available for housing, clean water, healthcare facilities, high-speed Internet and other infrastructure needs.
