    USDA RURAL DEVELOPMENT INVESTS $45 MILLION TO SPARK COMMUNITY AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT IN 34 STATES. MISSOURI CHILDRENS HOME BENEFITS.   Agriculture Secretary Ann M. Veneman announced the selection of 309 business, community and Tribal transportation, and educational loan and grants from 34 states. The Wright County Children's Home in Norwood, Missouri, received a grant in the amount of $21,370 for the purchase of a motor van to transport children to and from the Home.

Funds are to be used to purchase emergency rescue equipment including a jaws of life, power unit, and air bag rescue system.
