Rural Housing Site Direct Loan:

PURPOSE

The Rural Housing Site Loan Program provides financing for purchase and development of housing sites for low- and moderate-income families. Self-Help Technical Assistance Loans are made to acquire and develop sites only for housing to be constructed by the Self-Help method. Rural Housing Site Loans are made to acquire and develop sites for any low- or medium-income families

RATES

Technical Assistant Loans bear 3 percent interest

Rural Housing Site Loans bear the market rate of interest either at the time of approval or at the time of the loan closing

Loans are for 2 years

$200,000 by State Director for National Office

RESTRICTIONS

Rural areas, towns, & cities maximum population – 10,000 or less
