DISTANCE LEARNING & TELEMEDICINE LOAN & GRANT PROGRAM:
The purpose of the Distance Learning and Telemedicine (DLT) Program DLTP) is to enhance learning and health care opportunities for rural residents by providing modern telecommunication inter-connectivity to educational and medical facilities.
| Eligible Applicants: | An incorporated organization, partnership, Indian tribe, municipal corporation, or not-for-profit organization which operates or will operate a school, college, university, or learning center. |
| Type of Assistance: | This is a loan and/or grant program. The Administrator establishes the maximum amount of financial assistance to be made available to an individual recipient for each fiscal year. |
| Matching/Other Requirements: | No match is required for loans; however, leveraging of other funds is encouraged and enhances the chances of a higher project score. Grants require a 30% match. |
