Application deadlines for USDA Rural Development programs

 We recently received 2007 funding and application deadlines for most Business Programs. We are now accepting applications for all programs. For descriptions of the programs and application criteria please visit our website at www.rurdev.usda.gov/mt/rbs/rbs.htm 

 The programs and deadlines are as follows:
 

Value Added Producer Grants (VAPG)

• Application deadline is May 16, 2007

 
Rural Cooperative Development Grant Program (RCDG)

• Application Deadline is May 18, 2007

 

Business & Industry (B&I) Guarantee

• Applications are accepted year round.

Community Facility Loans, Grants, and Guarantees

• Applications are accepted year round.

 Also the Rural Economic Development Loan and Grant program has increased the dollar amounts for maximum awards. This program provides loans and grants to rural electric and telephone cooperatives for economic development projects in their service areas. The new limits are $1,040,000 for the 0% loans and $300,000 for the grants. Application deadlines continue to be on a quarterly basis.
