Rural Housing Programs-Multi-Family Housing

Rural Rental Housing loans are made to finance apartment style housing. Loans can be made to individuals, public agencies, cooperatives and profit and nonprofit corporations. Apartments can be rented to low, very low and moderate income households, including elderly. A list of eligible communities is published annually in a Notification of Fund Availability (NOFA). Applications can be submitted only during the timeframe designated by the NOFA.
