PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: To reduce or eliminate pollution of water resources and to improve planning and management of solid waste sites.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS: Applicants for these grants are private, non-profit, tax-exempt organizations with proven experience and ability to provide such technical assistance. Grant funds may not be used for recruiting of applications or to duplicate services already provided by the organization.
CONTACT: Applications for providing assistance in only one state (e.g. North Carolina) should be made at the Rural Development State Office; if more than one state, apply to the Rural Utilities Service, Rural Development, USDA, Washington, D.C. 20250.
