PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: To identify and evaluate solutions to water and waste disposal problems in rural areas, to assist in preparation of Rural Development Grants, to improve operation and maintenance of existing water and waste disposal systems in rural areas.
CONTACT: Applications for providing assistance in only one state (e.g. North Carolina) should be made at the Rural Development State Office. If more than one state, apply to the Rural Utilities Service, Rural Development, USDA, Washington, D.C. 20250.
