Public Library Funds Available |
Secretary of Agriculture, Tom Vilsack has
set a goal of investing $100 million of USDA’s Community Facilities American
Recovery and Reinvestment Act funds for public libraries.
If you have an idea for a great
way to improve your public library but lack the funds to do it contact Rural
Development to help you make those ideas a reality.
The
USDA Rural Development Community Facilities Program
offers
American Recovery and Reinvestment Act funds for
public
library renovations and upgrades in communities less than 20,000
population. The current
interest rate
through
March 31,
2010 is 4.00 percent. Grant funding may also be available.
