New Jersey Eligible Areas for Business & Industry Loans, Rural Business Enterprise Grants and Rural Business Opportunity Grant programs
The following list provides a general description of eligible
areas for the subject Rural Business programs. To see a general map of each county
click on the county name. The list and maps do not constitute the final determination
of whether a proposed business or activity is in or serves an eligible area. The
Business and Community Programs staff will make all official determinations. You can
also use the web mapping tool available at the following site to assist in making an

ATLANTIC COUNTY: All municipalities are eligible except: for the urbanized portions of Buena Borough, Buena Vista Township and Folsom.
BERGEN COUNTY: Eligible areas include the rural areas of Mahwah and Oakland.
BURLINGTON COUNTY: Eligible areas include Bass River, New Hanover, North Hanover, Springfield, Washington, Woodland, Wrightstown and the rural areas of Bordentown, Burlington Twp., Chesterfield, East Hampton, Evesham, Fieldsboro, Florence, Hainesport, Lumberton, Mansfield, Medford, Pemberton Twp., Shamong, Tabernacle, and Westampton.
CAMDEN COUNTY: Eligible areas include the rural areas of Waterford and Winslow Townships.
CAPE MAY COUNTY: All municipalities are eligible.
CUMBERLAND COUNTY: All municipalities are eligible except for Vineland, and portions of Deerfield and Millville.
ESSEX COUNTY: No eligible areas.
GLOUCESTER COUNTY: Eligible areas include all of Clayton and South Harrison and the rural areas of East Greenwich, Elk, Franklin, Glassboro, Greenwich, Harrison, Logan, Mantua, Monroe, National Park, Paulsboro, West Deptford, Woolwich.
HUDSON COUNTY: No eligible areas.
HUNTERDON COUNTY: Eligible areas include Alexandria, Annandale, Town of Clinton, Clinton Township Bethlehem, Bloomsbury, Califon, Delaware, Flemington, Frenchtown, Glen Gardner, Hampton, High Bridge Borough, Holland, Kingswood, Lambertville, Lebanon Borough, Milford, Stockton, Tewksbury, West Amwell, and the rural areas of East Amwell, Franklin, Lebanon, Raritan, Readington and Union Townships.
MERCER COUNTY: Eligible areas include East Windsor, Hightstown, Hopewell Borough, and the rural areas of Hamilton, Hopewell Twp., Lawrence, Princeton Twp., Washington, West Windsor.
MIDDLESEX COUNTY: Eligible areas include Cranbury Twp., and the rural areas of East Brunswick , Edison, Monroe, Old Bridge, Plainsboro, Sayreville, South Brunswick, Woodbridge.
MONMOUTH COUNTY: Eligible areas include Roosevelt, and the rural areas of Colts Neck, Freehold Twp., Holmdel, Howell, Manalapan, Millstone, Tinton Falls, Upper Freehold, and Wall.
MORRIS COUNTY: Eligible areas include the rural areas of Chatham, Chester Twp., Harding, Jefferson, Kinnelon, Long Hill, Mendham Borough, Mendham Twp., Montville, Morris, Mt. Olive, Rockaway, Roxbury, Washington.
OCEAN COUNTY: Eligible areas include Plumsted and the rural areas of Barnegat, Berkeley, Eagleswood, Jackson, Lacey, Little Egg Harbor, Manchester, Ocean, and Stafford Townships.
PASSAIC COUNTY: Eligible areas include the rural areas of Bloomingdale, Ringwood, Wanaque and West Milford.
SALEM COUNTY: All municipalities are eligible except for Penns Grove, and the rural areas of Carneys Point, Pennsville and Pittsgrove Twp.
SOMERSET COUNTY: Eligible areas include the rural areas of Bedminster, Bernards, Bernardsville Branchburg, Bridgewater, Far Hills, Franklin, Hillsborough, Montgomery, Peapack-Gladstone and Warren.
SUSSEX COUNTY: All municipalities are eligible except for Stanhope, and the rural areas of Andover Borough, Andover Twp., Bryam, Hopatcong and Sparta.
UNION COUNTY: No eligible areas.
WARREN COUNTY All municipalities are eligible except Alpha, Phillipsburg and the rural areas of Greenwich, Independence, Lopatcong, Mansfield, and Pohatcong.
