The funding will be used to upgrade the Village’s wastewater treatment plant and raised USDA Rural Development’s total investment in Brocton’s facility to $3,555,000. The agency provided a $1,812,900 loan and $490,000 grant for the project last year. The funding was provided through the agency’s Water and Environmental Program, which supports water and wastewater infrastructure construction and improvement in rural communities.
