This program provides direct and guaranteed loans to non-profit organizations and public bodies for generation, bulk transmission facilities, distribution of electric power, enhancing 911 emergency service, digital switching equipment, and fiber optic cable.

Rural area

Interest rates will be set periodically and are based on current market yields for municipal obligations. Certain loans may be made at a lower rate. The current rates may be obtained from any Rural Development office.
