VAPG Applicant Eligibility Assessment

Step 1: Am I an eligible applicant? There are four types of eligible applicants for the VAPG program: Independent Producer, Agriculture Producer Group, Farmer- or Rancher Cooperative, and Majority-Controlled Producer-Based Business Venture. To determine which, if any, of these applicant types you are, please begin by answering the following question.

Question 1: Are you one of the following?

a.   An individual
b.   A for-profit company other than a cooperative
c.   A steering committee
d.   A non-profit organization other than a cooperative
e.   A cooperative


If none of the above, then it is likely that you are not eligible for the program. For questions, please contact your State Office.
