2000 Annual Report Executive Summary
Metlakatla Indian Enterprise Community
In 2000, the Community turned the EZEC over to the Contracts and Grants Office to administer. Jill Smythe returned to Metlakatla for technical assistance in training and updating the benchmarks. The Community has now accomplished several benchmarks and continues to update the on-going ones. The Community has experience a continue downfall in employment and is investigating several areas in which to create economic development.
