2001 Annual Report Executive Summary

Tri-County Indian Nations Enterprise Community

Tri-County Indian Nations (TINCDC), building on the success and continued focus on raising awareness of the Enterprise Community organization and designation, has begun to define its self as a value added partner in the development of the rural Enterprise Community territory. Improved community awareness, reconciliation of the benchmarks and meeting the immediate needs of the TINCDC organization and its communities as well as the successes associated with economic development and community development infrastructure shine as 2001’s most significant accomplishments. With a full, active Board of Directors, continued outreach through the development of Territorial Marshals and multi-county committees TINCDC seeks to enhance both its visibility and worth. TINCDC hopes to become a leader in assisting, participating and initiating community organizations set to solve the needs of its constituency. TINCDC hopes to overcome the foreseeable problems associated with low committee participation and an unsure financial future with the development of strategic initiatives and vision developed through various public forums, fairs and a Board of Directors retreat. Finally TINCDC hopes to further value to its various community partners with brick and mortar projects that highlight the advantages of the Enterprise Community Designation.
