2002 Annual Report Executive Summary
Griggs-Steele County Empowerment Zone
FY 2002 for the
Griggs-Steele Empowerment Zone (GSEZ) has been a very productive year in regards
to community development. We’ve managed to create new programs and sustain the
existing programs for the Zone. To date roughly $5,000,000 has been distributed
in the zone communities through our grant, loan, and equity programs. More
importantly, the GSEZ continues to strengthen its communication bridge with the
Zone communities providing them with necessary information, resources, and
programs to carry out our mission.
