In it’s attempt to reduce dependency within the boundaries of the OOWEZ, there are several efforts taking place simultaneously that will help the EZ initiative attain its goals. As the OOWEZ enters its fourth year, the immediate need being addressed is infrastructure and work force development. The OOWEZ recognizes the role that functional infrastructure plays in attracting jobs to its respective communities. In that vein the OOWEZ continues to support efforts to stabilize local government.
