The county was awarded a courthouse improvement grant from the Department of Natural Resources. Major upgrades to the main electrical service to the courthouse were completed. We hope to continue this project and seek additional funds to complete the courthouse renovations floor by floor. We plan to continue to work with the Missouri State Office of Rural Development on additional ventures.

We also plan to improve safety in the community by procuring additional funding for police cars, services, and equipment.
