Outline of Need:

The city of Sandusky, Michigan badly needed renovation of its sewage treatment facility to meet current environmental requirements.

How Rural Development Helped:

USDA Rural Development announced a $2,122,000 grant and a loan of $3,690,000 to the city of Sandusky to renovate and improve its sewage treatment plant.

The Results:

The funds will help the city of Sandusky meet environmental requirements and serve the residents of the community.
