In August 2001, their former home was lost to a tornado (NE)  Rural Development staff from Flint, Michigan helped plant the Andrew Lily Community Garden in Flint. Rural Development also set up shop to interview parties interested in home ownership (MI)  Traverse City, Michigan guaranteed loan staff became the Green Team working on behalf of HomeStretch in Traverse City. Ktunaxa Community Development Corporation's and Rural Development's Mutual Self-Help program in Elmo, MT is almost complete. Rural Development staff helped the homeowners paint one of the homes. One residence was completely painted and trimmed out in only two and a half hours Rural Development staff volunteered to help the homeowners paint homes at the Elmo, MT Mutal Self Help Housing Project as it nears completion  State Office and Kalispell Local Office Rural Development staff teamed up with a Self-Help Housing group in Kalispell, MT.
