Section 9005 Payments to Eligible Advanced
Biofuel Producers
|
Purpose of the Program: The purpose of this program is to support and ensure an expanding Production of Advanced Biofuels by providing payments to Eligible Advanced Biofuel Producers. The Eligible Advanced Biofuel must be produced at an Advanced Biofuel Biorefinery located in a Rural area http://eligibility.sc.egov.usda.gov/eligibility/welcomeAction.do
Advanced Biofuel Producer: An individual or legal entity, including, but not limited to, a corporation, company, foundation, association, labor organization, firm, partnership, society, joint stock company, group of organizations, or non-profit entity that produces an Advanced Biofuel.
Advanced Biofuel Commercial Quality Fuel or Biogas derived from Renewable Biomass, other than corn kernel starch to include: Biofuel derived from cellulose, sugar, starch (other than corn kernel starch), and waste material Diesel-equivalent fuel derived from Renewable Biomass, including vegetable oil and animal fat Biogas produced through the conversion of organic matter from Renewable Biomass Butanol or other Alcohols produced through the conversion of organic matter from Renewable Biomass Other fuel derived from Cellulosic Biomass Applications must be received by August 11, 2009 |
