| The office of Community Development (OCD) has initiated a "Centers of Excellence: College/University Partnership Project" with four institutions of higher learning to serve as pilot projects for a program of education and training on rural poverty issues. These four "center of Excellence" include traditional colleges and universities representing diverse geographic areas with unique needs, all located strategically near existing EZ/ECs. They will act as a cornerstone of a national rural development network. |
