USDA Utah Rural Development

About The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA)

Rural Development Mission

The overall mission of the USDA Rural Development is to improve the quality of life for rural Americans.  To accomplish this, our office has the responsibility of coordinating Federal assistance in eligible areas of Utah.

Working closely with for-profit and non-profit sectors, along with state, county, city and area of government offices, we help improve the way in which the Federal Government does business in our mission areas in Utah.  With this philosophy of public partnership, many positive outcomes for rural  Utahans occur.

It is Rural Development's intention to insure rural citizens can participate fully in the global economy. By providing technical assistance and loan and grant programs to rural Utahans, a stronger economy will be built and the quality of life will improve for all.

Please review our latest Annual Report at this link to find details on ways we have been able to assist people and communities in rural Utah.
