New Medical Building
on the Eastern Shore
Congressman
Glenn Nye and Virginia RD State Director Ellen Davis, presented
Nancy Stern, CEO of the Eastern Shore Rural Health System with a
$ 2.5 million funding certificate. The low interest loan
will be used to construct a 20,000 square foot medical facility
in Onley, Virginia.

On October 3,
2009, Secretary of Agriculture, Tom Vilsack made a national
announcement that over $27 billion dollars in Stimulus
Assistance (American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009) has
been provided by USDA.

a stop in Southern Virginia on July 18, 2009. An open
