Technical Assistance and Training Grants can be used to identify and evaluate solutions to water and waste disposal problems in rural areas, to assist in preparation of Rural Development grants, and to improve operation and maintenance of existing water and waste disposal in rural areas.
Applicants should be a private nonprofit organization and possess ability and experience to provide technical assistance and / or training to water and sewer utilities.
Funding:
Technical Assistance and Training Grants are made available from at least one percent and not more than three percent of the funds appropriated for Water and Waste Disposal Grants. Applications are accepted October 1 through December 31.
